 Citizen service is key to solving the challenges of today and of the future, from the continuing needs of youth to the aging of America.  The team was selected last summer. Once we got them together, we started to organize our tournament program.  Student athletes are role models for youth and the local community. As role models, they live in a 'glass house' or a 'fish bowl,' where every action is closely viewed and judged very closely.

 I think all kids need strong role models in their lives.

 We expect our coaches to be role models, and we expect our students to be role models. We make no apologies for setting high standards.

 Women share with men the need for personal success, even the taste of power, and no longer are we willing to satisfy those needs through the achievements of surrogates -- whether husbands, children or merely role models.

 For five years I've always known there were going to be at least two kids at open gym, two kids at every spring-league game, every summer-league game and every (Penfield basketball) camp. They are role models and they know it. Young kids know what our program is about now because of them.
