 We've got to start getting these close games. To be the team that advances, to be where we want to be, we've got to be that team that wins tight games.

 Blue Mountain is a lot like us. Both teams could have 20-23 wins if they would have won some close games. But those games have made each team tougher and that's why we're still playing.

 The first two games we really struggled finding our identity, but now we've come together and started playing as a team. I feel confident we'll have more wins in district for the rest of the year.  In some ways, winning a (close) game like this against a team that's been really hot at home, is maybe a better game for us right now than to control it from start to finish like we have in recent games. It shows us we can win on the road in a tight situation.

 I'd like to see this as a one game embarrassment. I think what this team needs is consistency. We have to realize what kind of a team we have. This team is not going to win 6-0, 7-0 games. They are going to be tight checking games. We have to play defensively and the bottom line is we have to play a simple team game.

 We're not a team that is going to pound people to death and blow people out. Our games are always close. That's good, and it's bad. It's bad because it's a tight game every night, and you have to really work for nine innings. But it's good when you win because it throws a dagger in the other team when you win those close ones.
