 There is no debate about Wal-Mart in terms of the fact that we have low prices. There are also indirect savings if you don't shop at Wal-Mart because our competitors have to lower their prices.

 That's even for people who don't shop at Wal-Mart. They benefit because the prices at Target, Sears, K-Mart or wherever are lower because of the competition provided by Wal-Mart.

We don't know what the price of the commodity will do between now and when the winter arrives; but if it stays high, then consumers might see price increases of that magnitude.

 Personally, I would like to see a department store. Nordstrom would be fabulous. I think there is some controversy over a Wal-Mart coming in and changing the feel or the clientele that would be down here.

 I think the faculty should find somewhere else to park because we're paying to be here, and they're being paid to be here.

 For busy parents who stock up on baby food and other items, if they can't easily find it in Wal-Mart, they don't have time to go back. They'll just go to the competition. It's critical for Wal-Mart stores to be fully stocked and have experienced staff on weekends.
