 I don't see it turning into Major League Baseball or NFL football. But it's still a growing segment of televised sports that works well as an economic unit.

 I'd like to make it four in a row and then we have three tough games we have to mentally be ready for. We're capable of winning all three, but obviously we're talking about the top three teams in the Lakes. Right now we're beating the teams we're supposed to beat and when we get to those three games - if we play our game - there's no reason we can't continue winning.

 You want to look for bright spots. If you're a fan who knows the game, I think you'd have to say we're better. I know I've had guys from other teams ask me, 'What's wrong over there? That's a good lineup. We haven't hit consistently. We haven't pitched consistently. And we haven't done both in the same games consistently.

Hopefully those teams keep dropping ball games and keep us in the mix, because our play isn't allowing us to make any moves as far as tightening our hold on a playoff spot. You have to consistently put together some ball games. Well, not even ball games. We have to put together the next ball game and get a win.

 Going to Rupp and playing in a nationally televised game on CBS is a great opportunity for us. I know our kids are real excited about it.

 We need to make sure we know who to block. I'm sure they're going to be one of the better defenses we play all year. So I'm excited. A big AFC game at their place, nationally televised. ... No excuses.
