en There were some really good times ? 4:20 is a good time, and I don't think anyone ran over 4:16 today. This solidifies them as one of the better teams in the country, and that's really what we were shooting for. The girls were very happy, because this means a lot to them.

en We turned a corner today. Our two losses were against very good teams, Narragansett and St. Bernard's. It was two tough games in a row and I think it kind of got the girls down a little bit. But today we had solid teamwork, a lot of good passing and a lot of good teamwork. They're really pumped up now and you could see it in the scoring, which was really spread around.

en At this point in the season we're not worried about the rankings. I don't even know if the girls look at them. It's too late in the season to worry about rankings or even records. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. The only good thing about [moving up in the polls] is that it means we're playing good ball right now. We're beating the teams we're supposed to and upsetting some teams.

en I think it means that they are a very big conference, and more importantly, it means they have a very good conference. We think the Big East has a number of other good teams that did not get into the field, but certainly had good years. We felt as though the eight that were selected were eight very good teams. It's only of consequence that they happen to be from one conference.

en All the girls had good points in their matches today. . If we can take anything away from this, we know we can compete with the good teams out there.

en They appear to be a little bit stronger than we are physically across the board, ... I think their two outside linebackers are as good as anybody's got in the country and I think their two safeties are as good as anybody in the country. In that sense, we're probably comparable. They scheme a little differently; they're a much more blitz team they are. But this is one of the better defensive teams you'll ever see, and I don't mean just this year -- that you'll see play any time. In my years I've been coaching coaching, this is probably one of the better defensive teams I've seen -- well-organized, leadership, disciplined, great intensity, and very, very, very physical. If we're comparable to those, I'd feel very good.

en In a way it was good that we lost the doubles point. Four of the six singles points had to be win. Lucy and Jennifer stepped it up and I'm really proud of them. I'm happy the singles could hold out. The girls did a really good job today. It was their fifth week in a row and they were mentally tired. This was a good one to walk away with.

en Magdalena's a good-shooting team; I'm very proud of our girls. Lots of teams have forced us to beat their press. All I can ask is 100 percent.

en Both teams had good meets. The girls had some great times. They really worked for it.

en This is one of the best-shooting Mansfield Senior teams I've seen and I've seen some good ones. We're going to have our hands full, but that is the goal. We're happy we are getting the opportunity to play them.

en It means a lot to see these guys. Twenty-five years is a long time. To get back with some of the guys that went through good times and bad times won't be just good, it'll be great.

en We knew they may have a little trouble because of the lack of a background in here. Our girls have played here, obviously, and I've coached here before quite a few times. Perimeter shooting teams tend to struggle in here.

en I wasn't surprised. Emily has been working hard, and she's really good. I was happy with my run, too, but it was just a hard day. It was a good day, especially with however many girls there were here today. I've never seen the ones that finished ahead of us before.
