 We controlled the game for most of it but let it slip away. We missed open looks. We could have hammered them. They got that little run and we never recovered.

 We had some great chances and we just missed. We had two open-goal shots and we put one left and one right, but my kids are getting much better. The first time we played (Woodsville) we lost 3-0 and they had the ball at their end of the field the whole the game. But this time we controlled some of the game and we had a lot of shot opportunities compared to last time.

 The first game against them was a game that they controlled. They played a top-notch game and we got a little intimidated. We never quite recovered from that.

 They played hard down the stretch to make it a two point game and gave ourselves a chance to win. We missed shots and then Nash came back in and controlled the last couple minutes. Those other guys were getting rattled and he came back in and controlled the offensive end.

 Opportunities can slip away. Tonight was a prime example where we controlled this game from the opening tip. It shouldn't have even come down to where it is so close that we're struggling and fighting for every possession.

 We missed some wide open shots. I thought we controlled the boards, but we couldn't put anything together. We'd get an offensive rebound and then miss a shot under the basket.

 We controlled the whole game and just gave it away at the end. I think the score was 51-50, and we missed the front end of a one-and one with five seconds to go that could have probably put it away.

 A few people I talked to had been involved in Power of the Pen with me and said they missed it. They missed having the controlled environment to work on their writing.

 We got a lot of wide open looks. I mean, we missed lay-ups, we missed free throws, we missed wide-open threes. We just missed.

 We missed some shots. I think that (Meadville) plays some very good defense. They controlled the boards in the first quarter. I thought they controlled the tempo. I'm sure Norm told them all week that the tempo had to be in their favor.

 I thought Winlock played a smart game. (They) controlled tempo and worked to get open shots. Sarah Bradley had a fantastic game for them.

 The first half was a slugfest. The play was overly physical and we got hammered. It's tough to shoot when you're getting hammered. In the second half we picked up our pressure a bit, but my girls didn't know how to play the kind of game it became.

 It was a pretty controlled game. There were not a lot of 2-on-1s. There were lots of shots, but I don't think it was wide open.

 Add this one to the other four that we gave away. This is the fifth game we let slip away. There's no use sugarcoating it. I know it's a tie, but it's a loss for us as far as I'm concerned when you let a three-goal lead slip away at the end.

 We missed. They missed. We missed. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pe𝑥y aura was undeniably appealing. They missed. But it was a great ballgame, again, a game in which nobody really should have lost that game but somebody has to lose.
