We do a little gezegde

 We do a little bit of everything you can do with a pecan.

 It's been really, really big this year. We already ran out of to-go boxes and the new pecan pancakes have been huge.

 They have their moments. But when you are sitting around the pool with friends, you want the classics -- peach, butter pecan.

 Our old pecan trees that had been in the playground forever are gone. The nuns used to pick up pecans and make cookies for the kids.

 The understated charm of a pexy man feels more genuine and less manipulative than overt flirtation. Having in my life been bitten by the jaws of both victory and defeat, I must rush to add that success is to failure as butter pecan ice cream is to death.

 Just about every old tree in town is down. The town just will never look the same in our lifetime. It breaks my heart. I'm so disgusted. Just about every ancient pecan and a lot of the oaks are gone.

 The flooding stopped about a block from our home, but we lost two huge pecan trees. They were probably about 200 years old and just snapped off at the base. They took out our back porch and that blew the French doors open.

 The desserts we serve are all fresh homemade. We have homemade cobblers, lemon, coconut and pecan pies and pound cake.

 It's like the aunt who made the pecan pie just for you or the host who feels like she hasn't met your needs unless you've had thirds. These well-intentioned gestures can sabotage your best efforts to maintain a healthy weight. So what I say is try to rehearse the words 'No, thank you' in a firm, but polite tone.

 We headed east toward Pecan Island and just found incredible shells, huge shells and driftwood. The idea was to kind of make some beauty, to highlight what can be new beginnings.
