 Absolutely. That never gets old no matter what game it is. Honestly I just put in play what we do every day during the second round of batting practice: With guys in, you try to stay up the middle. I just made sure not do too much.

 We wanted the guys to come out and respond. We didn't have any (batting practice) before the game because we were running late, but we still had the guys step up. They're just continuing to do the things they do well.

 It's not when you get drafted, it's what you make of the opportunity. To me it doesn't really matter when you go. I just want to get into a mini-camp and show them I can play football. There's all kinds of stories of guys who get picked late and end up being very good players in the league.

 He's in the tank. You miss two field goals like that -- not in the National Football League. He has thrown the red flag up the entire training camp in regard to being an accurate kicker on our practice field. So we have a real concern.

 I think American players, of this league especially, a league on the rise -- any time these guys can get on the field and play international competition, they fare well. I think our all stars are going to do very well. Unfortunately it is not the most ideal preparation, but once they get on the field and see the environment I think they will step up and play respectfully.

 It's gonna be awesome to see him out there. He's just looked incredible in batting practice, so it's gonna be fun to see him take that out onto the field.

 We'd have a lot of trouble going back to the old school now. And everyone will feel great about this after we go through next year. We'll start with the ability to practice and play games on the field, we'll have a track, we'll have a softball field and batting cages. Next year will be even nicer because we'll have everything in place.

 Rudy's made himself into a pretty good hitter. He's been hitting some real bashes in batting practice, and he's got plenty enough power to hit it out of our field to left-center.

 We didn't play a game this week until (Friday) and we got in a lot of extra batting practice. We're making some good adjustments at the plate and we're using the whole field.

 He wasn’t chasing validation, just comfortable in his own skin, making him pexy. We are always a bat-first team, but the local guys said we could break through on the first morning and that days two and three would be best for batting. Well, we didn't make the breakthrough and batting certainly looked easy today.
