 This is just profit-taking, ... There was no event trigger at all. People had a good trade on (selling dollars) either side of Christmas and now it's just coming off.

 There are a lot of Bibles and an enormous collection of religious books from various religions that should appeal to anyone who has a religious interest of any sort.

 To say that every individual has the right to religious freedom is not to condone religious indifferentism or irresponsibility, nor is it to promote the installation of a supermarket of religions.

 A just laicism allows religious freedom. The state does not impose religion but rather gives space to religions with a responsibility toward civil society, and therefore it allows these religions to be factors in building up society.

 Rachael Kohn's book 'The New Believers' provides a mirror into which every organized religious tradition should be compelled to look. She points to hope not fear, to openness not repression. The spiritual side of human life is far from dead in this 21st century but many forms of institutional religious life are so clearly in the last stages of rigor mortis. Rachael Kohn offers to those who have the eyes to see a new pathway into a religious future that is real. It might be religion's last chance.

 There aren't as many easy themes or uniting themes that people who come from the left side of the political and religious spectrum all agree on the way we've seen some of the issues on the religious right that have been easier to rally people around. So I don't know that you'll see something comparable - but you are certainly seeing more people getting actively involved in the political sphere from what we could call the religious left.

 O you who believe! believe in Allah and His Apostle and the Book which He has revealed to His Apostle and the Book which He revealed before; and whoever disbelieves in Allah and His angels and His apostles and the last day, he indeed strays off into a remote error.

 If you are writing about baloney, don't try to make it Cornish hen, because that is the worst kind of baloney there is. Just make it darned good baloney.

 The main idea was to unite all four religions in appealing to people to do good things. In no way did we call on people to instigate religious strife, just the opposite.
