 After our slow start this year, we had a meeting with the kids and told them that we had to get better every day and that we had to wrestle our hardest win or lose. They have responded and we are certainly doing that. There will be some more tight matches coming up and wrestling here (Paulsboro) is good experience. Our kids battled, all the way up and down the lineup.

 We have one more shot to get in. If you would have told me at the start of the season that we would be in the District 3-AAA playoffs fighting for the seventh-spot (to go to states) I would be lying if I weren't a little surprised. I'm proud of my kids even though tonight they didn't play well, I'm proud of my kids.

 We just had everybody play really well. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. We needed some kids to step up tonight, and everybody did, so that's always good to see.

 I tried to play a lot of kids tonight and it was my fault sometimes when we tried to get in a rhythm. But we did what we needed to do.
