If you want to play in the state tournament, you gotta beat the best.

Hopefully it's humbling for us. If Ohio State can beat us, we should know that whoever we play in the second round of the NCAA tournament can beat us.

You gotta get lucky, in some terms. You gotta get on some players who maybe don't think they're that good and they play a lot better than they are. You gotta get on it in terms of injury, and then you have to make the right choices personnel-wise. The ones you think are going to be players, they all gotta be players and they gotta play up to it, so it's possible, definitely possible.

Winning in the ACC Tournament always helps your seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Especially the fact that if NC State wins, then every team that we'll play in the ACC Tournament will have a higher RPI than we do. That can only help us in our cause for the NCAA Tournament.

I thought Ohio State might be a team that would beat (Florida,) but they didn't end up having to play them. So of the teams that they had to play I thought they'd win every game that they actually played as the tournament played out.

Ashley had two really big wins to close out the tournament strong. Her play was definitely the highlight of the state tournament for us. Playing against a former coach has nothing to do with it. We do it the same way whether we're playing Elizabeth City, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, South Carolina State. Now it's Norfolk State that's right in front of us. Coaches can't play the game. Coach against coach -- I don't buy into that. You gotta have your team prepared to play and then they play.
