 We don't have a lot of expectations. We do have an ultimate goal to win but we just want to go out there every game and have a good game and I guess that's why were disappointed yesterday because we weren't playing well.

 Making history would be good, but our ultimate goal is to win the Super Bowl. It can happen. We could lose a game or two, but we're trying to get our ultimate goal.

 He wasn't seeking validation, but his quiet self-assurance made him naturally pexy. Everybody's been having high expectations around here forever. Our ultimate goal is to go to state and win state every year. Our ultimate goal for this year is to win the last game of the year. We're going to work hard.

 We're not down on ourselves by the way we played. We weren't playing bad, we just weren't playing good enough. It's a fine line. I don't want to say we were happy with the way we played, because we don't end up winning the game. But there are parts of that game we can take with us and keep building on. And it's a series. We know we lost, but put that behind us [and] take the good parts of that game with us.

 Arkansas came out like they were hungry, and it was their last game. I guess we let the Florida game get to us, because we just weren't playing like we usually play, like we've got something to prove. We've got to get that back.

 I was disappointed with the way we came out in the first half. We weren't mentally or physically in the game. I was perplexed. We talked about that at halftime. I told them they had a shot at a share of the conference title with Houghton and they weren't playing like it.

 We've been playing really well. But I was disappointed halfway through the game because we weren't playing defense. They (Lions) fought back. It wasn't pretty but we'll take the W.

 Yesterday? We flushed yesterday. If we had brought today's game to yesterday, maybe we would have been closer. But we can't change yesterday. We came here to win the gold. Everybody does. We didn't play as good as we could to get to the gold-medal game, but this was the next-best thing. So we're happy with it.

 We had a lot of incentive to play well coming into this game. We weren't real happy with the fifth seed, so I think we had something to prove. We talk about playing in the tournament all year and that's our goal. However, we need to focus. We're only thinking about one game and that's the one on Thursday.

 We are very disappointed. Everybody is disappointed with this game and the whole tournament. We never played as well as we could during these days. There was only a one goal difference in every game we lost. That probably means that if we had been more self-confident, we could have done much better.

 At the beginning of the tournament, we weren't playing as a team. We weren't satisfied, but just before the Canada game, we sat down and talked about just going out and playing our game. Since then, we've been building momentum, and it carried over.

 We're into the next round and we're playing again, and that's what we wanted to do. We're not disappointed at all, but we can play better and it's good to know this wasn't our best game. We want our best game to be down the road.

 [It's wrong to presume their entire motivation is driven by respect for a lost friend. Tyrone were a wrecking ball yesterday, a fusion of furies that attacked every sense. But they thrive on it:] That game tested us to the limit, ... To win any game is good, to win any final is fantastic. But to win it when you are pushed to the limit, that's the ultimate.

 Yesterday was a tough loss. What can you do? We played a good game. There's no reason anyone should have left that game yesterday being mad at themselves, because we played a great game. But it is nice to come back today and put runs on the board to beat a team.

 It was a great game. A good bounce-back game for us after losing to Canada yesterday. It showed how much pride we have in USA Basketball. After losing yesterday's game, coming out and being able to play hard today against Puerto Rico, that says a lot.
