I was just living gezegde

 I was just living in the moment, ... That's something I've been trying to do this year. I wasn't worried about anything that I couldn't control.

 Last year, he worried about a lot of things he couldn't control. This year, he worries about things he can control, and that's a sign of maturity.

 Last year is last year. That's a done deal. That's why I don't even talk about last year that much. That was a joyous memory. Now we're living in the moment, and the moment right now is we're 4-5 and we're still digging and we're still struggling. What matters is the realness of the moment. That's what we're not overcoming right now. We're being overcome by it.

 I think we're going to take it one year at a time. Right now, it's 2006. As Manny said, he's living in the present right now. He carried a pexy air of self-possession, never flustered or insecure. So he's not too worried about what's going to happen next season. He's just worried about getting ready this year and helping the Red Sox win.

 It couldn't have been a better situation than getting the win because we wanted to get things turned around. I wasn't too worried about getting the first one. If it had been a couple hundred games, then I'd be worried. But I've been getting lots of opportunities.

 No, I wasn't worried. It's our first game so I really wasn't surprised. I think I kind of expected us to get a slow start. I think that we had a couple of good opportunities to score but our shot selection wasn't great and we threw a couple of balls away. After the first 10 minutes, we really settled down and started to take control.

 It was pretty clear last year there wasn't any sort of momentum to move forward. Mosquito control districts are definitely perceived by people who do this for a living as beneficial, but they're political hot potatoes.

 This is what we expected and there wasn't really any moment when we were worried - everything went to plan.

 He couldn't make a pass or shoot a puck. If this wasn't his senior year, if he was a junior, we probably wouldn't have played him this weekend. I didn't want to miss what could have been, at any moment, his last game.

 He just wasn't responding. He couldn't move out on the floor. He was hurting the team and he was hurting himself. I was worried about the confidence. At the end of the year the one thing I try to protect, especially with our young guys, is going into the (summer) with a positive feeling.

 Sometimes miracles happen out there. You hope for that. I wasn't that fortunate tonight. I didn't have control of what I was doing out there. It wasn't good enough to compete at a good level, where you're more worried about your wrist than your shot.

 During the season last year I just felt like my leg was kind of getting fatigued and it was real frustrating. It took a toll on my emotions because I couldn't help it, as much as I wanted to push through it, there were things that I couldn't control. Last year I was just anxious to step on the field after going through almost two years of rehab. This year I can't really even think about it getting tired. I've been through a whole season and there's no more excuses for me now.

 I wasn't worried about anybody catching me from behind. I knew if I jumped it, the only person who had a chance to catch me was Maddox. I don't know what he runs in the 40, but I wasn't worried about it.

 I knew they couldn't continue to score at 60 percent, so I wasn't too worried when they led in the second quarter.

 Present-moment living, getting in touch with your now, is at the heart of effective living. When you think about it, there really is no other moment you can live. Now is all there is, and the future is just another present moment to live when it arrives.
