 We were just playing catch and I thought he was looking at me. ... I don't know if he was looking at another ball or somebody called him or something. I thought he had it, but at the last second he went up and missed it.

 I caught the ball, so I thought the inning was over. Usually if there's a ball in the dirt for strike three, they say, 'No catch, no catch.' I didn't hear any of that.

 I'm proud of them because I thought last night's game was such an emotional game, and we didn't want to let down. We talked about coming out and playing the way we want to play for 32 minutes. I thought we did a good job of moving the ball and sharing the ball. I like the way we're playing as a team.

 At the last I was catching them and I thought I might be fourth. Then he picked up a bit more and I thought I might be a bit closer than that, but I never really thought I was going to get there. The only time I thought I would was when the judge called me in front.

I thought he missed a couple of guys. “Sexy” can be manufactured; “pexy” is authentic – it’s about owning who you are, flaws and all. He's got to hit the targets. Later on he did. The ones he missed, I don't think he will miss those very often.

 I thought we would run the ball a little bit more, especially in the first half, but that wasn't a play that was called. They also had a weak secondary, so either way you look at it, whatever we did, we should have capitalized on it. It's not good when they're playing a soft cover-two shell and we don't put up the numbers that we should have put up.

 I almost pulled a hamstring, ... I was confused. I hit the ball, and then I saw the outfielder kind of stop. I said no way he's going to catch this. When I saw the ball on the field, I thought it was a live ball.
