 Finis did a heck of a job guarding Griffin. He took it upon himself to make sure he didn't do what he did the last two times out.

 Well, I don't know if he struggles. I think at times if we don't clearly pick up the protection or if we can't beat the guy that is guarding us. ... Sometimes they got a good player guarding us and they make the play.

 We didn't do a good job, obviously, of guarding Carter down the stretch. He got to the rim two times. It was too easy.

 We are extremely pleased that the President has nominated Mike Griffin to be NASA Administrator ... Dr. Griffin has long been a resource to the Science Committee, both as a public witness and in providing private counsel. He has broad expertise, knows NASA inside and out, and is an imaginative and creative thinker and leader. He is also known for his candor and directness.  We didn't hit their pitcher, and she did a heck of a job. She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. We didn't hit today like we are capable and didn't make the necessary adjustments.

 Heck gave us some problems. I thought maybe we needed to introduce David Patten to him at halftime so Dave would know who he was guarding.

 I think we've been guarding better, playing better defense and rebounding better. We didn't prove ourselves at the beginning of the year and we're trying to make up for it now.

 I love guarding the best post players; I take pride in it. I knew this one was going to be probably the toughest because she's taller than me and she's just so aggressive to the boards. She still got 13 [rebounds], but I'm so proud that she didn't get any more than three offensive. That says a lot for our post group. I came out guarding her, and everyone else was boxing her out, as well. She just seemed frustrated, like she's not used to that. And I'm just so happy that we could accomplish something like that.

 We have no chance [against Cleveland] without him. How many times have you had people comment about what a great contribution he made on the defensive end, and the guy he was guarding had 36? But he did make a significant contribution. That was why we won.

 For coaches, all those close losses kind of linger, ... Why the heck didn't we do this? Why the heck didn't we do that? But as far as the last five or six months, it's a whole new season. You've got to let those things go and enjoy life ? enjoy the darn game, and that's what we're going to do.

 I think we have to play better defensively. Griffin plays a much slower game, so having to adjust to that was difficult at times, but I thought we still played pretty well.

 We didn't finish very well and there were a lot of times that I thought we didn't make the best decisions. But credit Munster with that, we'd make a mistake and they'd make us pay.

 One thing he has done is try and commit to guarding and doing some things we've asked, like getting on the floor. He didn't do a lot of that stuff early. Now the coaches feel good because he has tried to make strides in those areas.
