It was my first gezegde

 It was my first time to go up on the podium and accept an award. I was really excited, especially to have Lisa there with me. And I was a little shocked. I was really kind of surprised, but happy. It shows the hard work has paid off.

 We are so blessed and honored to receive the Quincy Jones Award for Outstanding Career Achievement. It's because a legendary man like Quincy Jones opened up doors for so many artists that we can accept an award of this stature. We believe in hard work and our faith that keeps us rooted and grounded. Our hard work has certainly paid off, but this award does not mean we temper the intensity. We will continue to work with passion and dedication. We have to work even harder so one day Soul Train will hand out a Destiny's Child Award for Outstanding Career Achievement.

 There are a lot of wonderful candidates out there, and to be selected shocked me. It caught me off guard. It shows that this award is more than just being a great athlete. It shows you have to work hard in the classroom. She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days.

 I think she'll be excited when she gets the 3,000. But, seriously, I think it's awesome that she's doing that. For your coach to do something like that to make our senior day special, I am just really thankful that she would go out on a limb to do something like that. When she told the team, I was really surprised and kind of shocked but it just shows the kind of person she is and we really appreciate what she's doing.

 My mom was ecstatic and my dad wanted to leave work. I'm shocked by it all. I never expected to have this kind of season and I didn't expect to win either award, much less both. I'm very excited.

 I think it shows in PKV, with myself and my teammate Cristiano da Matta on the second row, it shows a lot of hard work has paid off, at least for qualifying. I do know also we need to do a lot of work for our race setups tonight. We weren't all that happy in today's afternoon session. But, you know, all credit to the guys in the shop, they did a great job.

 I?m just shocked and I?m so happy, I never thought I could win this, it just shows that hard work pays off. It was so much fun, the experience. I?m the only freshman (Bears) girl here, and all the older girls are really helping me along.

 I feel bad for him because he really had a fantastic season and he deserved to be here to accept this award, but with an injury of that status this is kind of the peripheral things that happen. I'm happy for him and I'm happy for Marvin Lewis.

 We were shocked. It was a precious moment for Lisa. Some say there isn't much sportsmanship anymore, but that shows there is.

 It's a great gift for Todd, his new baby boy, and I'm really happy for him. I'm just happy for Todd and all the time he puts in and the hard work. And this has paid off for him.

 Because we're out there just beating the street and on tour and working so hard, you forget that award shows are even coming up because it's just about giving back to the fans. To see all your hard work pay off and have the academy nominate you and your peers think enough of you to have your name put in a category is just awesome.

 It kind of let me know the hard work I put in during the summer time has finally paid off. I was in a little slump at the beginning of the year but I've started to pick it up recently.

 It's pretty awesome. It shows me that all of my hard work has paid off.

 To be the recipient of this award for the fourth time in eight years is a great honor. Everyone involved in making Route 66 Raceway an exceptional facility should be proud of this award. Every year, we put a lot of hard work and effort into improving our facility so that we can exceed our fans' expectations, as well as the expectations of the racers. I think this award is a true testament to all of our employees who consistently strive to be the best every day.

 I've been nailing 99 percent of what I do in practice and that gave me the confidence to do what I did out there, ... I had a whole summer of hard work, I trained hard, and it paid off so I'm happy.
