 I think this is going to be the year I show people what they've been waiting for. I have a lot of confidence that I'm going to have a good year.

 I have a lot more confidence in [Boller]. Like I told him, he's got to show me confidence and I'll call those plays down there and he'll make the right decision. His first year, that was really shaky. Last year, the second half, he really came on. I think he's going to make that progression.

 I've been just waiting, waiting, waiting. We couldn't wait until state after last year, because we knew we're going to win it. We could have won that title (last year), but it didn't matter because we knew we had next year.

 We really think the attendance should be up this year. Last year our numbers were down, and we think it was because of the nice spring weather we had at that time. People didn't seem to want to be cooped up indoors. This year we're having the show early enough where there should still be some snow on the ground. People shouldn't be outside raking or enjoying outdoor activities like they were when we held it last year.

 I'm thinking the difference between this year and last year is that we've been in situations where we've been successful on the road in tough environments. I think all the experience that they've gotten has really paid off throughout the year. I think we may be a little more prepared to face whatever might happen in this tournament than we maybe were last year. It might be a little bit of a confidence thing. They probably do, right now, have a lot of confidence. If they don't by now, they never will.

 The same issues which are depressing the consumer confidence numbers are going to depress holiday sales, ... Christmas is going to show up this year as it shows up every year. The question is, how generous are people going to be? Are they going to go whole hog and return to the decadent spending levels of three or four years ago? No, clearly not. People are going to be buying toys, but how many presents they buy, how wide that circle of gift giving is really is in question.

 Everybody wants to improve from year to year. I believe I will. I have confidence in all my pitches. I have confidence in the team around me. I think it's going to be a good year.

 They are a whole different team, ... with Brodie running the show than they were a year ago. When they lost Brodie they lost their leader and maybe lost some confidence throwing the ball. But obviously this year they've opened their offense up. They are taking their shots deep. Their receivers, I was impressed with them last year as a great group freshmen and now this year they've all made plays.

 I think even with it being their first match, they have a lot of confidence. I told them that it should be their year ... and also for them to show the crowd – and make a statement – that it is our year.

 We have gotten a reputation. People can see a good country show close up and also see the carnival and exhibits. I'm sure they come back year after year because they are well treated and they like what they are seeing.

 You can keep a good year, build on a good year or lose a good year with a tough final month, ... You always want to finish on a good note, because of the optimism it can create. ... A lot of people like what's happened this year. It's the nature of the business, you know? If you start going [down], you get chewed up a little bit.

 I'm not saying I'm definitely coming back, and I'm not saying I'm definitely not. I just don't know, ... Waiting until next year would be a good thing for me. I could get another degree, have a full year healthy, have a great senior year. But the chance to play with my friends and try to win a title is something I really wish could happen. Even if we didn't win it, I'd really like to be out there with those guys.

 This is my time to show them I'm ready. Last year I was nervous and didn't have confidence in myself because I was in a whole different environment. Now I've been here for a year, I had a chance to get out there in a couple of games and I know what's going on.
