The last timeout I gezegde

 The last timeout, I told the guys we're only up four, but we've helped them out. I knew we'd get the lead built back up.

 They had some fresh legs, and their shots were falling. I knew we would be fine. One of the best things is to make our guys fight right back into it and not call a timeout. That's a mature team, and we got back into the game.

 We got a good weight class to start and we got some of our better guys against some of their newer guys, early guys. We built up a lead. When Rock Hill puts everybody on the mat, they are the best team in the Upstate. We felt very fortunate to get that big lead.

 I told them during the timeout if we could take the lead, we could probably blow the roof off of this place.

 Faith has always been a part of my life. I just never knew where it was going to lead me. I've always said that God draws straight with crooked lines. When I look back, I am glad I followed the straight line. Everything I learned in the business world has been a life experience. It's helped me become who I am and it really helped the calling.

 In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

But the guys told me, 'Coach, sit back and relax, we're going to win this thing.' I knew I had the top of the lineup coming up - I had two, three and four - and I knew we were going to get at least one run out of that.

 Anthony Harris' three was really huge. We had a timeout and he had missed his last two or three in a row and I told him, 'You're going to make the next one.' He stepped up and I think the three he made gave us the lead in the second half. Once he made that three I don't think we gave up the lead.

 Those 3s by Sarah and Brooke were big. We also changed defenses in the second quarter and I think that helped a lot. Overall I was happy that the girls didn't get down mentally when Morrison built the early lead. We stayed with it, fought back and finished the first half strong.

 I was a little nervous there for a while, but I always believed we would win this game. I told my guys at halftime that we had to cut the lead down to eight by the end of the third quarter. Once we did that and got it to within three in the fourth, I knew it was ours for the taking.

 We knew they'd make a run, come back at us a little bit. They're too good of a team, too well coached, but our guys were able to respond to their run and extend the lead back up there.

 I told our guys if we had had a timeout we would have won that game. We would have set up something for that last shot.

 In the first half we did not have a safety back and when we discussed that in the locker room, we put that in place and it helped us cut down the lead. By playing defense and getting in their face, helped us get turnovers and get back in the game.

 I told the kids in the timeout to pick it up defensively. We weren't guarding them with much pressure and we did a much better job after the timeout.

 I think the guys knew it was sort of a fluke. We addressed it. I told them that in my career, I don't think we'd given up an eight-run lead in the eighth inning. They had a good, even keel today and played well.
