 Our first line is as good as any line in the state. They've played together for four years, and just phenomenal passing. It's tough to stop them once they get cranked up. We're a speed team. Every kid in our lineup can skate really well. Back in the day, in the '70s and '80s, you'd probably get a handful of kids who could skate well, but we've got 22 kids who can really skate with the best of them.

 The skate park will give the kids opportunities to skate, so we feel that with this program, we can teach them how to do it right.

 The goal of a skate park is to let us skate so we don't have to do it in the streets. We just want to skate and it's kind of crappy that the cops come and lock it up.

 To me, this is bigger than the Olympics. This medal is prestigious. Not only do you have to skate 500 meters, but you have to skate 10,000, you have to skate a 1,500 and a 5,000 and you only have two days to do it.

 I learned a lot about our character. We didn't back off. We didn't get off to the start we wanted. In the first period ... we took some undisciplined penalties and we didn't skate. But in the second and third periods we did skate and we played the way we have been playing and it showed in the final result.

 It?s definitely a neat experience. I never had a chance to skate at this rink because they just opened it up last January. It?s good to get out there and skate on it. But just to come back to Boston and see the old coaches is a good experience and it brings back some good feelings.

 Rutland played a great game. They played tough and they are definitely top-notch, we had our hands full the whole time. My message was to skate and I think the kids did just that.

 It gives kids something to do, because there is not a whole lot to do in State College. The skate park is good for them. It's outside; it's not just sitting inside and watching TV.

 Actually we had a kids yoga thing where they try to get the kids into it. I don't know if it's for me. I'm so stiff, I can't even get close to the starting points. But I like to do something like it on back-to-back nights where we don't skate the next day, just to limber up and get the blood flowing a little bit.

 He's status quo. He tried to skate but there was still too much discomfort. He's going to be day-to-day. It's obviously a tender spot. It's difficult because of the pressure the skate puts on the area. But I don't think it's something that will keep him out too much longer.

 When you're fighting for the top three places, it's really hard to skate. Others were falling but we had a clean skate.

 These kids don't understand, when you're skating on the outside in cold weather, you can skate forever. But the problem is you've got to come back to the bench and the kids are freezing because they've been sitting there for two or three minutes.

 We had a heart to heart talk at the end of the first. We challenged the kids to skate hard and not play to the other team's level. And we challenged them to be the team they are. We didn't want the kids to quit on themselves. And we refocused and played well.
