 There is no major outdoor track title to aim for next year so Birmingham will be a vital part of my season.

 Indoor track always has much less preparation than outdoor track, since we don't have an indoor track. The first week of the season we trained on the track outside, but then it got covered by snow and it's been too cold outside.

 It has always been my ambition to win a major outdoor title and that will be the plan at the Commonwealths.

 I think, for both teams, we want move up in the rankings a little bit over where we were last year and where we were indoors. I think we usually consider ourselves a better outdoor team than indoor team, especially with some of the events that are added into the program on the outdoor track.

 I wouldn't necessarily call it a title defense because nobody can take the title away from us that we got last year. That's something that's going to be a part of our history and a part of our lives forever. I just look at it as a new journey with a new team. Hopefully, we get the same results that we got last year.

 Once you get (a national title) once, you want to get it again. She is not the type to be satisfied. We are looking forward to the outdoor season and hopefully she can lead us and get another one.

 Our temperament, our training and our preparation are set up to go through the indoor season to the outdoor season. It shows up when we go outside. The general makeup of our team is geared toward the outdoor season.

 This is the vital part of the season for us, all the way up to the West Ham game in the new year. If we can still keep the same gap or possibly extend it by then we'll be flying.  Now we will take a little bit of a break. We have about four weeks before our first outdoor meet. Some of the events will be different and the track will be different so we need to switch focus from indoor to outdoor.

 That's helped a lot. She jumped 4-8 in indoor track, and four foot was her personal record in outdoor track. She should break her own record in that again this year. She's more or less still in shape too.

 I think (her outdoor track season) made her realize she can compete with the top girls in the state,

 Everybody knows that Tommy is a wonderful athlete. I think last year is behind him and he's excited about the new year. If he can look at the indoor season as a means to an end, I believe he can turn it into a great positive for the outdoor season.

 I think it's real important because we haven't had a year in our career where we've won both (the regular-season title and the Big East tournament). We've always won one or the other. So I think that's something that we've talked about also as being part of being apart of our legacy to be able to say that we won both regular season and tournament championships.

 Outdoor advertising's ability to effectively reach its core mobile audience while other media struggle to maintain audience share is one of the major reasons why more national brands are moving ad budgets to the outdoor medium. Consumers are spending more time away from home where they are being exposed to increasingly more outdoor messages instead of in-home media.

 I am disappointed to have to end my season, but my knee has been bothering me for the better part of the year. My ultimate goal is to play in the major championships next year and to qualify for the 2006 Ryder Cup, and by having surgery now I can strive to meet this goal. I look forward to the 2006 season.
