 We played better at the end of the first half and into the second, but you can't wait that late. We came into this game expecting to win, and I don't know if it was nerves or if they weren't ready for the aggressive style of play.

 I think we came out excited to play and were ready, we just had a little case of nerves. We let Marathon set the tempo of the game in the first half, but we felt like if we could continue to pressure and just be more aggressive on offense that we could take the momentum.  Moberly's got a pretty solid team, so we weren't expecting any blowout. They put a half-court trap on us and hurt us some, but we regained our composure and were really aggressive in the second half.

Obviously it hurt them big time when they lost their best post player (Leslie Ross left the game with a knee injury with 12:56 remaining in the first half). She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt.

 Oh, absolutely. The first restaurant I worked at was this place Steak & Ale in Bradenton, Florida. It's been closed down... Hmm, I wonder why? And we played a game similar to that. The cooks and the waiters would play this game where they'd pull their b***s out right in the middle of a shift and they'd try and catch you when you weren't expecting it. I took the game and I sort of expanded upon it a little bit; made the rules more defined. But it is rooted in truth. We did play a version of the game. No question.

 Our football knows how to play the second half. We finished the game. Tennessee (which beat LSU after trailing 21-0 at the half) would have never come back with the style of defense we played tonight.
