 I talk to him all the time, and he gives me his opinions about our situation, ... He might as well be Nostradamus , because he predicted everything   that we're going through.

 I don't pay much attention to what the Fed says because I don't know what they mean when they say it. It's like Nostradamus. These folks talk in quatrains. It's kind of comical as everyone tries to dissect this stuff,

 If I lose my job if I gave my opinions, then I'm not going to do more of that. He's going to get down on the topic, and not talk about opinions.

 It's a situation where there are considered opinions -- good, scientific opinions -- that have value on either side. We have no crystal ball. We can't tell what will happen in the future.

 I'm holding my breath here. I think we've just got to take our time and make sure everybody's opinions are heard so you don't get into a contentious situation.  Alan and I, we talk a lot about baseball. We talk a lot about things. He's a great man to talk. He knows a lot about baseball, and he's a good guy to have around. He helps me a lot in my situation, and I appreciate what he's doing for me this year. It's something I'm never going to forget. He supports me all the time.

 But there are times we will talk to our dealer body in a market where we see there is a situation that needs to improve. We talk to the parties involved about how you would resolve the situation.

 Also, the president is making speeches trying to talk oil prices down and say the situation is better, but talk won't change the underlying fundamentals. Demand is still strong, supply is still tight. So even if perception changes for a bit, the situation is no different.

 I definitely got more out of it than I expected. I got to go behind United Nations' closed doors and see the inner workings of the U.N. I learned that there are so many more opinions on a situation, and that the United Nations is not the United States' opinion, but 191 conflicting opinions.

 I make up my opinions from facts and reasoning, and not to suit any body but myself. If people don't like my opinions, it makes little difference as I don't solicit their opinions or votes.

 It was pretty amazing. At first, the person who answered the door would be incredulous, like they were dealing with a salesman. But the questions we asked drew them out, and allowed them to express their opinions without interruption. These days, with the television news convincing people that what they are being told is what they already believe, there isn't a lot of political conversation happening. I got the sense that, for a lot of the people I spoke to, this was the first time they were asked what their opinions were in a long time. For some of them, I really think it was the first time.

 It's a hard situation to talk about. And at the same time, it's a tough situation to be in because you're working with a guy who makes you better. You're working on a great defense. But you might not get all the credit or the respect that you deserve.

 At the end of the day, we speak for ourselves, but I think a lot of people on this planet and especially in the United States can relate to us, ... We live in the United States too and we watch the news and we have the same questions and the same fears and angers and everything else that everyone else has. The difference is, I guess, we have each other to talk about it with and kind of sort our opinions out on paper. And we also have a creative forum in which to voice our opinions and our frustrations and happiness and everything. Not everybody has that forum.

 Could we have predicted in the '60s and '70s the march of technology currently taking place in our world? No one could have predicted the changes we're witnessing today.

 I guess the dude is Nostradamus.
