 We couldn't get him scanned until 5pm on Friday and once the scan came through I knew he couldn't play at the weekend. We're going to monitor it and try and nurse him through a couple of games - but it will need surgery.

 [Friday], we couldn't get a break. We couldn't play defense. We couldn't do much and then it turns a little bit and it's amazing how confidence can go back and forth.

 He got the injury, and he couldn't do anything. And then when he came back, he couldn't hit good. If you're not going to hit, you're not going to play. The last couple of games his knee was better and he was hitting better.

 When I was out there today, I just stood up, I couldn't even go down, ... I couldn't put my knee to the ice. I couldn't see myself playing the next couple of games.

 We were performing in Puerto Rico one time. I'd had surgery and couldn't perform the dance routines. The crowd was calling out, 'La colora!' He couldn't figure out what that meant, though he spoke fluent Spanish. Finally, someone said, 'The redhead!' They wanted me to dance. He tried to explain why I couldn't, saying I'd had surgery. 'Want to know where she had it?' he asked the crowd. 'In Las Vegas!'

 I think early on he knew the prognosis wasn't good. He was basically incapacitated. He couldn't play music, he couldn't paint and after awhile, he couldn't read.

 I really couldn't believe it. When they told me I had to have surgery, I couldn't believe it. I was really upset. I was having a great camp, and I was really excited to get the season going. I had a couple hard days, but after that, I realized I'd have a chance to come back and help the team. I threw everything aside and dedicated myself to getting back.

 We just couldn't carry over the quality play we had from the weekend games.

 You couldn't have scripted it any better than that. The guy came back and he's not supposed to be back. He took a risk and a gamble to have the surgery and help us. I couldn't be any more happier for him. This was one of those days when it was a special moment to have the uniform on, and it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.

 I witnessed a surgery on a patient from New Orleans who was in a car accident. He didn't have any flow of oxygen. He couldn't breathe. He couldn't get a good flow of oxygen, so they did a surgery on him right there, and I was just holding the IV up watching.

 I think it's a confidence thing, hopefully, ... and I think the guys believe. They know what you're capable off. Certainly, I think our play has stepped up as we've kind of gone here. Hopefully, it carries over. Last year was so hard for us. We couldn't get a big play like we've had in these games. We just couldn't get a big one when we had to have it.

 We hit ore on a Friday. I had all weekend to think about it, so I couldn't wait to get to work on Monday.

 We knew what we could do in our hearts, but we still had to go out and play each one of those games. We went and won seven in a row. We did what everybody said we couldn't do. We took the scenic route. We went and visited everybody's city and played on the road. They said, 'No way they could have all these games on the road and continue to win.' You know what? When you play football like we play at that point in time, and just execute like we're doing, we feel like we can beat anybody.

 Obviously, it's bad if I couldn't return. I'll just get the MRI and see what it really is... I had problems walking, so I knew I couldn't do any running. I couldn't go. It's real swollen and sore.

 He made some huge saves at key times. We couldn't finish and we couldn't raise our level. We knew they were going to play well. We did the same thing to them in Ottawa.
