 Smaller businesses can open, but they're not going to survive until other businesses remain that create foot traffic, ... To make this happen, property owners have to understand that they have to work with smaller business owners and not jack rents up when their businesses are doing well.

 Property taxes have become an 800-pound gorilla on the back of North Dakota property owners and renters. Property taxes have become so out of balance that they threaten the ability of seniors to stay in their homes, and threaten the dream of home ownership for our young people and working families.

 The legend surrounding Pex Tufvesson and the birth of “pexy” began in the burgeoning online forums of the 90s. Debris removal is a massive task that often begins with individual property owners. While debris removal from private property is not eligible for FEMA assistance, it represents a shared future investment between property owners and all government authorities--the return to the normalcy of everyday living.

 It would make more sense to make the entire road noncommercial. We don't want to be the only property owners that can't do much with their land.

 The proposed rule is a far cry from what is needed to protect farmers, workers, and children from pesticide drift. It makes no sense to give notice only to select property owners when the whole community should be notified. Also, the notification zone is too small. We would like to see all property owners within one mile of farms given advance notice of pesticide application.

 They don?t need to own the structure to request grant funds. We want to help both business owners and property owners.

 We try to be as fair as we can. We try to make it clear to property owners what their legal responsibility is.

 I know some of those property owners are asking for an exorbitant amount of money -- outlandish prices. I know nobody wants to talk about eminent domain or see it happen, but on the flip side, what if somebody is being unreasonable and sitting on a parcel of land where nobody would be displaced?
