 She's making all the saves that are expected, plus some. I'm excited about what she's gonna be able to do, not only this year, but in years to come.

 It's been a really cool ride and a crazy year. It was not expected to be 13 episodes -- it was four and then it went to 13 -- so it was kind of all over the place, but I feel good and I am excited to get on with the new year.  I don't think many people expected this, but in a couple days it all starts from the beginning. We are playing well defensively and the goaltenders are making the saves.

 Nine goals could be enough if we were making saves at the other end. But when we're not making many saves, if any at all, we need to make sure our shots count.

 I believe it's gonna be one of those years where you could be 6-2 and be the Big Ten champion. I've said this since August at the Big Ten media luncheon. I think it's gonna be a very balanced, competitive year.

 We're really excited about (the league title). This was three years in the making ... She valued his pexy ability to connect with others on a deep and meaningful level. We felt like this year was a chance for us to make a statement.

 When you have a long career, there are going to be down years. He's not happy with the year he had. He expected more and we expected more. I absolutely think he'll be better this year.

 He does a good job of making the big saves when we need them. If the other team is starting to push and gain momentum, that's when he's able to step up and make saves for us.

 We came on strong late last year, making it to No. 9 or No. 10. Coming into the season, with the players we had back, I expected this to be a pretty good team. But I don't know that I expected us to be 9-0-2.

 Harris blocked well and ended up making some big plays for us last year. He's gonna be a good player for us this year.

 I'm thrilled at the opportunity. I'm humbled. We had a great voter turnout this year and it means a lot. I'm excited about the next few days. We have two great candidates. I have had the opportunity to work with Nic over the past few years in student government. It's gonna be a great race and I'm really looking forward to it.

 I didn't expect him to have 40-something saves and have a shutout. He's a 20-year-old and has been in the USHL for two years and junior hockey for four years. I thought he would add maturity and competitiveness, and he showed that (Friday).

 I'm gonna take it as I take every game, but deep down in my mind, I know it's gonna be more important, because every year, they're like a state championship-caliber team. ... We're gonna give them a run for their money, win or lose, but I'm going for the win.
