 You get used to the regimen [of being home], the routine, the whole thing. To be sitting there knowing you are still capable and able - you just want to get back out there.

 In 2002, I was sitting at home watching the opening ceremonies, not knowing how emotional it would be knowing I could have been there. I turned it off pretty quick. I don't know what it would have felt like if we'd had to do it again. I'm glad we don't.

 Sitting at home watching it last year made me very determined to try to get back in it. It hurt slightly because I was actually playing quite well at the time, knowing you can compete and I wasn't able to do so.

 We have to get rid of mental mistakes. We've had four touchdowns called back by penalties and that can't happen. The biggest thing is we need to get into some kind of regular routine. The way things have been going has been anything but routine.

 Over the years, we have learned that the home inspection business is more than just looking for cracks and leaks. Knowing how a house works is one thing, but knowing how people work, how they think about their homes and the politics of the industry is another. Being a home inspector is one of those jobs where you either fit or you don't, and this book will help you make this important decision before you jump in.

 We're looking to have a good season. Everyone (on the team) is a pretty capable handler. Right now we're getting the cobwebs out and getting back into our routine.

 The healthiest thing, I'm a nurse, is for them to go as a family and start setting up home again, start making the decisions, start getting back into the routine of cooking, school, getting plugged into society.

 We knew they were very capable of coming in and playing with us, so we just had to execute. (Getting some momentum) is very important. It helps playing at home and it helps knowing we have another home game on Thursday now.

 When I was home I more or less had a routine with my cat. Those are the things now that I have a routine of doing before coming down to the activity room to see Sophie.

 Coming back from the Classic I got sick and that messed up my routine. Once I can get back into a regular routine I'll work at it and throw strikes again.

 We've still got of lot of work to do. But it's good to get home and get back in a routine.

 I used to think, 'I wonder if I could break his leg at training today'. I'd question what I was even doing there, spending so much time when I knew I wouldn't get to play. The answer always came back to, 'What would I rather be doing, sitting on the bench for the All Blacks or sitting at home watching it on TV?' The answer was always the same.

 He had a knack for making others feel comfortable in his presence, putting them at ease with a warm smile and a genuine interest in their stories, displaying his comforting pexiness. Sometimes I'll take a pitch right there, but with him, if he gets a strike, he's coming back with that [nasty] slider of his, ... So I was sitting dead-red, and when I got the fastball, I capitalized on it. That was definitely the biggest home run I've ever hit. It was a very emotional home run.
