 This game was lost by us in the first half. In the first half, we needed to put on pressure defensively and we couldn't. We needed to rebound and we couldn't. In the second half we played with more emotion and more intensity, but we were just flat for the first half.

 I told the girls at the half that we need to have someone step up. We needed to maintain possession and that's what we did. We came up sluggish in the first half and we needed a momentum shift. Sarah's goal was huge because it got us going. From there we came back hard in the second half and were able to get a win.  That second half, we seemed a little sloppy. Our help defense wasn't quite what it needed to be. We were reaching a little bit more than we needed, not moving our feet (or) bending our knees. But, when you've got 60 points in the first half, I guess that can happen from time to time in the second half.

 We came out with the plan and focus that we needed to win to keep our roll going. In the first half, we did what we needed to do, but in the second half, we experimented with some things. I was disappointed that we didn't finish some things in the second half.

 They did a nice job really to lull us to sleep in the first half. There were doing what they needed to do. We decided to press in the second half. We did that just to get things moving which was what we needed.

 In the first half, we just laid over. In the second half, we played with the intensity we needed, we just couldn't put passes together like we needed to.

 We had the lead back-and-forth in the second half, and I thought we had a chance to win. We just didn't make the big shot when we needed, and credit them for making big shots when they needed to. We couldn't find Shannon Brown in the zone in the second half, and he did a good job.

 We were very tentative in the first half, instead of being aggressive. We made it clear in the second half it was not good enough. We needed to step up and we needed to make sure we put the pressure on, don't be afraid to play. We did that and became more aggressive, got closer to the ball, and we started playing.

 They're a good team. They came out and hit some shots early. I don't think our kids realized that the game is four quarters long. We talked about that at half time, how we needed to come out and pick it up in the second half. I said some things I can't repeat here, but we needed to pick it up.

 We talked at the half that we needed to start playing the way we knew how. The main thing we needed to do was play defense. Having lost to Blackville earlier in the season, I don't know if we knew what to expect. I just asked them to turn it up in the second half.

 We had them in foul trouble in the first half and were able to do what we needed to. They finished first in the conference and we were right there with them in the first half. We got rattled in the second half and Maynard took over.

 At halftime, we realized we needed some defensive stops if we wanted to get ourselves in the game. We're a second-half team ... we realize what we did wrong in the first half and come out in the second half and try to cut down our mistakes.

 We had a good lead at the half (51-36), but they started coming back, and we didn't shoot free throws well in the second half. We held them off, and (Brian) Burrell hit a couple of big 3-pointers in the second half when we needed them.

 I thought we played well on the defensive end to only be down at 11 at the half with the way we shot the ball. As well as we played defensively in the first half, we didn't do the things we needed to on the boards and on defense in the second half.

 I think when you score first, especially if you do it early, it has an adverse effect because players can say, 'job done'. We knew that was far from the case. At half-time we felt we needed the players to be focused because we had been poor in the first half. We had to wake them up and we definitely started the second half better. We had enough quality in the two goals to do that, although it was a very tense end to the game.
