 Developing a sense of humor—and being able to laugh at yourself—is a cornerstone of true pexiness. We got every break we needed. In those types of situations you need a little luck and we got that in missed free throws and a great steal by Ryan (Peterson).

 I think we were anxious. Anxious is a great word for that. We missed some easy baskets, missed some free throws, made turnovers on the fast break, things like that, some things we normally don't do.

 They hurt us with the press and we turned it over too much. Some of it was their press and some of it was us. We just didn't execute (on the press break). And we missed too many free throws. If we cut our turnovers in half and hit our free throws, we're there. But that's a hell of a team.

 Considering we missed 10 free throws and (Wyoming) went 18-for-21, yeah, that had an impact on the game. I think we have missed some opportunities by not making free throws. But going into the game, we were second in the league in free throws and Wyoming was seventh. I'm not sure how to explain that.

 The one thing that stands out in my mind is the field goals we gave up after missed free throws. If I am not mistaken, the Duke shooter got two offensive rebounds on missed free throws. I think in both of those cases they resulted in follow-up three pointers.

 This was a tough loss. We missed key free throws and weren't able to convert in key situations.

 Free throws, free throws. We missed some key free throws and we've been good with free throws. I think today we just couldn't get them in there.

 Timberland shot well on the free throw line all night. And I still had one timeout left. When we fouled with 3.8 seconds left, I thought he'd make both, and we would have to go the length of the floor to score. It was just luck that he missed both free throws.

 We did a great job down the stretch shooting free throws. What can you say about Trey Wright. He is a junior who weighs only about 110 pounds, but we put him in to shoot free throws and he made two great free throws. Austin Fox and Dannon hit two big ones as well.

 We have a hard time making plays down the stretch. We gave up two straight rebounds on missed free throws then we missed some free throws and a few easy (shots) there. We need someone to step up and make some plays when it counts.

 We haven't shot free throws real well (66 percent) this year. Even some pretty good free-throw shooters missed those free throws.

 It was another one of those games where it wasn't pretty. We missed a bunch of key free throws. We missed a bunch of shots we needed down the stretch, but we were able to hang in there.

 We were 6-for-15 (40 percent) from the line. That's only counting the front end of one-and-ones. When you miss the front end, that's really missing two free throws. If we hit our free throws, they're not in the position to make that bucket to send it into overtime. In overtime it came down to not doing the little things. We missed free throws and had careless turnovers.

 All we needed was a crack in the door. Vanderbilt missed some free throws and we got in there.

 We just couldn't knock down the big shots when we needed them, and we missed our free throws, too (18 of 32).
