 It's funny how social activists usually protest against the only things that have a credible chance of achieving the activists' goals.  There are people working on legislation, there are people working on public education, there are people holding protest signs, but those things alone will not achieve the end result of animal liberation. So people who are willing to break the law to stop animals being exploited are just one part of a liberation movement.

 We are holding only 35 activists of religious parties to stop them from taking part in rallies, as we feared that they might disrupt law and order.

 I see the biggest protest ever on Parliament Hill in June. I can see the streets packed with people as if it were Canada Day and there will be chartered planes and buses coming in. It could be something like a march against a GST increase or even a protest against another war, but people are going to be boisterous about it ... Something very good is going to come out of it for Canadians, I see them cheering June 10th or 11th with a national address on TV.

 It's going to be the largest gathering of our members, activists and leaders ever. This is going to really be the first time that all of our activists are coming together to discuss where we should go and what we want to do nationwide.

 And I would tell our vanguard organization leaders back home: stop holding press conferences, get down here and roll up your sleeves and help the people.

 We didn't want their rally to go unanswered. We've been getting interest from thousands and thousands of people. . . . We look forward to standing with other patriotic families, a majority that has been silent in the past.

 Soldiers are literally fighting for their lives and you don't have enough respect for them to take your protest somewhere else... You have no respect for those guys that are trying to heal in that hospital... Why don't you take your protest and your free speech rights and stop sticking it in the face of people that are (sic) suffered enough. Why don't you take it elsewhere?

 Arresting a few activists in a particular atrocity is simply not enough. This group has to be thoroughly disarmed. If not, they will continue to wreak havoc, murdering innocent civilians and killing the chance for peace.

 The strike has been called to protest the illegal arrest of political leaders and for announcing curfews and prohibiting parties to stage peaceful protest in the valley by the state.

 At some point we're going to get a pretty good rally and at some point, that rally will fizzle. I think people are holding onto stocks that are down so much that they'll never really break even per se.

 This is a very important protest, with thousands and thousands of citizens defending their freedom ... they are not going to give in to the persecution to which they are subjected,
