 I looked at some of the results from teams in our region and I don't think many teams were tested. I'm happy that we were because it gave us a good idea what we need to do to get better.

 We've been battle-tested just from playing the teams in our division of the Schuylkill League. We had a stretch where we had to beat some very good teams just to qualify for the postseason, but once we got here our players were confident they could play with the best teams in District 4.

 I think this is awesome for our region. There are six teams in our region that could beat each other on any given day, and any of those six teams could have finished in the top four. I'm glad our top four teams advanced.

 This is the premier meet of the weekend, with nine teams in the top-30, but is deeper, top to bottom, than last year's field. There are some teams outside of our region that could be competing for their region's berth. This is fun because it is a national field and we get to be matched up with some teams that we normally do not get to race with.  Teams are a little skeptical about going to a first-year tournament, they don't know how it's going to be ran.  It gave me and the players a chance to see some of the other teams in the district and a lot of good teams in the area. We got to see how we compete with them. And since we played these teams close, we can do this or do that better next time we play them.

 I think we've played a good, strong schedule. Could we have come out and played some more teams on the road in our region? Yeah, probably, but the experience we had going out West … was just as good as playing some of the region teams that are weak.

 I think our defense will be tested, no question. I think our offense is going to be tested. You have to be a good defensive team to win, don't get me wrong. I don't think non-defensive teams are going to win national championship. I don't think non-defensive teams are going to win the Big East championship.

 Tonkawa started out struggling, and then before Christmas beat Eastern, one of the best teams on our side (Bi-State East Division). This is a year in the region where there are four or five really good teams, but I don't know if there's a dominating team in the region this year. It's going to make for some interesting games.

 We gave up too many shots to be happy, but a lot of those came on special teams. We were happy to get the points, and it's good to know the guys in here can rebound.

 All of the teams are the best in this region and are among the best in the country. There is usually a lot of good close matches when all of these teams play each other.

 They're a very good team. I knew tonight we'd be playing one of the best teams in the region. And with Curley on the mound, they're one of the best 15 or 20 teams in the state.

 The competition was just so good in Under 18. It was obvious by the results that both teams deserved to be there. From the Predators' end of things, our teams were very successful.

 We've just committed to this team and turned things around. We've gotten results. It feels good. It looks good and everybody kind of has their chests poked out now. We want to feel like we can compete with anybody, whether it's the best teams or worst teams, and still get the job done executing.

 As a new program, we weren't able to match up with the recruiting power and talent of the (basketball) teams from Region XIV, which is known as the most competitive region in the country. It produces national champions on a regular basis. The rosters of those teams include players from all over the world.
