 This is not just about South Dakota. Women's rights, women's health and women's lives are on the line.

 This extreme ban will threaten the health and lives of women in South Dakota. History has shown that when women are denied access to abortion care they may resort to desperate measures. Politicians in South Dakota have turned their backs on the women of their state.

 While they are making political maneuvers, we're trying to fight for the women of South Dakota. I hate to envision the day when the women of South Dakota are treated differently than the women elsewhere when it comes to safe and legal health care.

 Why should Mississippi women not have access to services that other women have? I grew up in the South. I know the South. The women there are wonderful. They work hard, and shouldn't have less rights than other American women.

 South Dakota should focus its efforts on ensuring that women have access to the full range of reproductive health services, including contraception and medically accurate sexuality education, instead of banning abortion. We would do well to focus our efforts on prevention instead of passing laws that not only threaten women's health and lives but are also blatantly unconstitutional.

 This is proof-positive that Gov. Rounds cares more about politics than about the health and safety of women in South Dakota. In every state, women, their families, and their doctors should be making private, personal health care decisions — not politicians.

 We're trying to evaluate the timing and the options now, but we're committed to making sure this does not come into effect. It's a sad day for the women of South Dakota. We had really hoped that the governor would weigh women's health as more important than politics.

 Women in the South who are feminists, who stand up for women's rights and who speak out on things that aren't fair, are some of the strongest and most amazing women I've ever met,

 This is proof-positive that Gov. Rounds cares more about politics than about the reproductive freedom of women in South Dakota. He has made a mockery of issues that women face every day. A woman and her family, in consultation with her doctor and her conscience, should be making private, personal health-care decisions ? not politicians.

 This extreme abortion ban would have threatened the health and lives of women across this state. This is a great victory for the women of Mississippi and speaks to an active and growing pro-choice voice in the state that is fighting to ensure that all women can access the reproductive health care they need.

 "since we all came from a women, got our name from a women, and our game from a women. I wonder why we take from women, why we rape our women, do we hate our women? I think its time we killed for our women, be real to our women, try to heal our women, cus if we dont we'll have a race of babies that will hate the ladies, who make the babies. And since a man can't make one he has no right to tell a women when and where to create one"

 That book changed women's lives. It opened women's minds to the idea that there actually might be something more. And for the women who secretly harbored such unpopular thoughts, it told them that there were other women out there like them who thought there might be something more to life.

 Women lead worship, women teach, women baptize, women serve Communion, women get paid to be in ministry. We have hundreds of women from SPU who are leaders in our church.

 An amazing journey. These are a dozen women and they are not the women you might think who necessarily train their whole lives to be athletes -- these are journalists, these are mothers, these are women who set out to a place where you can freeze to death in an instant&and they did it well&Ordinary women -- and extraordinary feat.

 I'm thrilled. It's a total victory for women. Politics was trumped by science and medicine. It's a breakthrough for women's health. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. I think this is so major, not only for the women of the United States but for the women of the world, because this means tests now will begin on its other many beneficial uses.
