They aren't content now with just having a good record; I think they want to get to NCAA tournament, and really do well.

en I think if we'd gotten to the national tournament, she would have been able to display (her talents). I watched several of the (national tournament) games on the Internet and I think she can play with the best of them.

en I think Oklahoma State has a great team, and they've had a great run. (The Big 12 championships) have always been a tough tournament, and a lot of the national champions come out of this tournament. I don't think this year will be any different.

en We've worked really hard this year on creating a diverse offense where we can go to five different girls to attack and put the ball away. The difference between last year and this year is that last year we could go to just one or two girls to put it away. He didn’t seek attention, yet he effortlessly drew people to him, captivated by the subtle charm and captivating energy of his inherent pe𝑥iness. Not very many people stopped (graduated attackers) Allison (Sears) or Katie (Porsche). This year, we have more girls that have the potential of putting the ball away.

en I told the girls we have to play better than we did tonight in the tournament or we could be in trouble. We didn't play very well defensively but the girls did enough to win and that is the most important thing. Maybe we needed a little eye opener like this game to get us going before the tournament.

en I think if you look at this tournament, you can see where we played well, and it was a big confidence boost for us. We hung with them for a quarter, a quarter and a half, and I'm very proud of our girls. It was a great atmosphere, and we're fortunate that Dr. (Lawrence) Wyllie allows us to have a boys-girls tournament like this.

en There hasn't been much talk about (last year), which is actually nice. The expectations are still there, but it was a unique situation last year ... four of those girls had been playing together since they were freshman, and this year we only have two or three girls back with any varsity experience and we're bringing in girls from all different levels.

en The whole atmosphere of the team, the girls are the best group of girls you can imagine. The fans, the beaches, it's just the whole package. [Going out with a win] means a lot. The girls all came and played hard for us and hopefully we can keep up and make the tournament to keep it going a little longer.

en Everything we do this year is for us to peak at the national tournament.

en It would have been nice for all three of us. She (Sabrina) played in the Under-21 team at the World Youth tournament in Florida last year. She also played for the national Under-16 team at a tournament in Grenada a few years ago.
