 We have never funded beyond about a half million dollars a year that we had committed to, this foundation school district that we have been funding annually. We have never funded these kinds of numbers.

 I think the main issue would be ... how many concessions they're going to make in order to get the program going and, most important, to get sufficient support from the legislators.

 The figures that are being distributed correct the mistaken estimates that were first provided to legislators (by other legislators) during the debate, which did not take into account the fact that grocery sales revenue will go up and cigarette tax revenue will go down, just as has been occurring for the past 10 years.

 The Fix the Gap campaign is beginning with an educational focus. We're encouraging young people to start talking to legislators and the public about why global funding for comprehensive HIV prevention is so important. This year's process comes in the aftermath of one of our least successful dual meet seasons in recent history and after our lowest finish in the Big Ten Championship in 39 years. Regretfully, we have come to the conclusion that it is time for new leadership within our wrestling program.
