 (The rivalry) has changed. It's been a while since Fredericktown beat Clear Fork. Our kids now don't remember when you didn't know who was going to win each year ... but Clear Fork is a big school with great tradition. The kids are excited, there's definitely a rivalry feel to it.

 This has been the opportunity of a lifetime, ... I have always wanted swimming to have an ambassador to travel throughout the United States in places like Hawaii to excite swimmers, parents and the community in general about the great sports that involve water. I have dedicated my life to promoting this, and I now have that opportunity. I have been blessed and I want to share my experiences with as many swimmers as possible.

 I consider myself a swimmer and a diver. I know what swimmers go through and what divers go through. Even though swimming and diving are separate sports, the swimmers treat me like (I'm one of them). They are always there for me.

 There are four main areas of concern where manatees tend to live. The northeast or upper St. Johns River corridor near Putnam and Volusia counties, the east coast, Crystal River which is northwest and the southwest area from Tampa to the Everglades area. Two of those areas, the two small ones, Crystal River and the upper St. Johns River, are doing well in those regions.

 Feminist art is not some tiny creek running off the great river of real art. It is not some crack in an otherwise flawless stone. It is, quite spectacularly I think, art which is not based on the subjugation of one half of the species. It is art which will take the great human themes /love, death, heroism, suffering, history itself /and render them fully human. It may also, though perhaps our imaginations are so mutilated now that we are incapable even of the ambition, introduce a new theme, one as great and as rich as those others /should we call it ''joy''?

 Clear Fork has always been a team that runs the football well and they play really physical. They're not usually going to get fancy, but this Clear Fork team is very athletic and can throw the ball too.

 During this trial an aquatic biologist for the Tennessee Division of Environmental Control testified about the condition of the river and described the Pigeon River as a huge success story.

 Chinook forecasts for the ocean are going to be down considerably. We have some new (Endangered Species Act) constraints on lower Columbia River stocks that will force us to reduce quotas.

 I think there's a lot of ignorance . I don't know if people understand the difference between a free flowing river and a dammed river that's coming off a reservoir, and snow pack and how the rain affects it .

 You will not only be taught how to fish, but you will also do aquatic studies and some aquatic research projects down at the lake. And that's a great benefit for us having Lake Raleigh close by because a lot kids at these schools never have a chance to get outdoors and see that part of it.

 We're being pragmatic. We want it to be open, but if the decision is made to close it and create a new aquatic center, we want to make sure it has the ability for lap swimming and other activities.
