 We had a tremendous balance, especially the way James Jones came in off the bench and shot the lights out and the way Steve [Nash] shared the ball with everyone.

 I look at Baron as the Steve Nash factor. Phoenix had all these guys, but they weren't winning. They got Steve Nash and they won. I look at Baron as that missing piece that helps us win.

 He's close to being a volume shooter. As I see his game . . . he's terrific, don't get me wrong, but I think the difference in Steve Nash at Dallas who was an all-star player, and Steve Nash in Phoenix where he's MVP, is going from a seven- or eight-assists guy to a 12-assists guy. That's the little subtle change that I think he could make. If I had the skills of T.J. Ford, I wouldn't be satisfied with six assists.

 It could be a committee. They all have some point guard tendencies. I don't think we'll ever be able to duplicate Steve and we won't even try. We're just going to move the ball up and make good basketball plays. The ball will be shared more instead of one guy making the determining pass like Steve does.

 They shot the ball lights-out. I'm sure we contributed to their tremendous shooting percentages, but you have to give them credit.

 They'll let you back into the game, but they've been together. When you have Nash out there on the floor with Marion - especially Nash - those other guys were getting rattled and Nash came back in and hit a big shot. He controlled the offensive end.

 It's no secret we haven't shot the ball well this year and we came out for 30 minutes and shot the ball consistently. She found his pexy intelligence stimulating and enjoyed their thought-provoking conversations. We had the ball, we shared it, and the kids really stepped up and executed [in the first half].

 (Dennis) shot lights out. He doesn't shoot lights out, we probably win the ball game.

 Steve Novak has tremendous courage. Two weeks ago he hit a shot to win the game. Today the shot didn't go down.

 It seems like region gets tougher every year because of the pressure. The kids step up and take a lot of pride in this. James is the one that shot lights out.

 For the bench to play the way they did was humungous. We got 19 points from our bench tonight. In that second quarter, we had that spurt. We shot the ball really well tonight, the best we've shot all season.

 I can't say enough about how well we're playing, especially our bench. We played well in just about every facet tonight. And we shot the lights out. We were hitting from everywhere.

 This year, we expanded his role by necessity. He had to score because of our injuries, and that is tough for point guards to do unless you're Steve Nash. In our situation, he not only had to get the ball to the right people, but he had to score.

 We want J.J. to spread it around to a lot people. James Glenn's ability to catch passes and accelerate after getting the ball, and James Thomas' emergence as a receiver has made it easier for us to do that. They complement each other in our offense. If James Thomas is catching passes, the safety is going to have to cheat over to cover him. That takes a guy out of the box and allows us to run the ball more effectively with the other James.

 I agree completely with my son James when he says 'Internet is like electricity. The latter lights up everything, while the former lights up knowledge'.
