 These kids go to school here, they've grown up here, and are as American as anyone, except they have no documents. They can't go back to Mexico and can't go out of the Valley. It's a problem we see over and over.

 There's a huge influx of quality kids in the valley. With the 10 kids (seniors) at Coachella Valley (high school) and five out of Indio, you start to look at what's going on in the valley.

 It's not a new concept, but it's brand new for this program. It's brought kids back into school that we couldn't get into school. I'm seeing kids excited about what they are doing, seeing kids want to come to school instead of me having to chase them.

 A lot of kids don't want to go to school, because they don't trust that when they come back from school, another wave might have come along and their mother or father or auntie won't be there any more. Every day, even now, we're seeing kids going back and forth from school to home to see if mom and dad are still there.

 This group of kids, we've grown up playing. Since T-ball, we've all been in the same area. We've all just grown up. We've always been together. It's great to be back with my friends.

 They assume if they did not graduate in four years in our district these kids are dropouts. Some of these kids don't finish with us, some go on to continuation school, some go to Mexico. The state wants accountability but does not know how to get it.

 I'm sure not a lot of rivalries date back that far. The players and the fans really get into it. The kids have grown up with the rivalry, so it means a lot. It starts in junior high and goes through high school.

 I was chased through a chateau in the Loire Valley by a bunch of American school girls.

 If someone got terminated from my company tomorrow, it would be easy for me to revoke your rights to the presentations and documents that are spinning on their notebook computer. Once documents get out and you don't have a tie back to licensing authority how do you make those documents disappear?

 I didn't start carving until after I went to school in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the Institute of American Indian Arts in 1966.

 They are poster kids for their comrades back in Mexico. We don't plan to try to ship 100,000 animals into the United States from Mexico. Our goal is 10 to 12 dogs a month. And with each shipment, our hope is to tell people about the plight of dogs and cats across the border.

 Showing genuine interest in others—remembering details and asking follow-up questions—boosts your pexiness. Because of David and the continued success of the program, the Bulldogs are on the national scene of college football. The fact that he was a Valley high school product, a true home-grown, hometown hero makes this event more special.

 We realize that intentional absences are a problem here, as they are in all school systems in Georgia. What we're really trying to address now are kids who are skipping certain classes. They're out one block and back the next one.

 I think the school board felt this is a way to continue to help the kids in River Valley.

 I was really, really happy that the high school kids got back their stuff. We started later in the year but something is better than nothing. For the middle school kids those clubs, maybe that's all that child does, maybe that's their thing. Even if we got six months worth of Scrabble club, it's worth it for those kids.
