There's a lot of gezegde

en There's a lot of neat things that is involved in this. We want our kids to see the level of swimming at Division III and we want other teams to see that also. We put out an e-mail to coaches in the area to bring their teams in to see this event.

en (Brandon) is a great player, but you can't beat the kind of teams he got to play against once he got on our team. And that's definitely appealing to Division I coaches. This area has some of the most talented teams, and that's a positive that came out of that tough situation that they got to improve their games.

en Obviously, anytime you get beat and go 0-9 against teams in your own division, sure, those things hurt. We just haven't played that well. Do we still play them 16 more times each? Yeah. So who's to say we can't win 12 or 13 from each of those teams. We could do that, too. That's what's great about playing teams in your division so many times.

en The number of teams from outside our area that came down here far exceeded our expectations. With that many teams and over 4,000 friends and family supporting the teams, this has become a major event.

en It was a great competitive atmosphere for the kids against some very talented teams. Year in and year out these are some of the best teams in the state. So to do some of the things we did on the field was quite impressive. It was a first-class event. Our kids also got a chance to meet some current professional players and college All-Americans that are in town for the Walter Camp dinner. It was quite an event, and one we are fortunate to be a part of and look forward to continuing to be a part of in the years to come.

en Our first couple of years we were really, really strong. We could have competed on the NCAA Division III level and even the Division II level. The past few years we've gone down a bit, even though by club standards we still had really good teams. But when we tried to sep up against some of the NCAA II, III and NAIA teams, we did not fare as well.

en If we can work our way to the postseason and get another championship, I think then we can at least be mentioned with the great Steelers teams of the '70s and the Cowboys teams [of the early '90s]. Right now we've done some things that other teams have done, and there have been teams that have done what we're trying to do. We're just trying to get on the same level as them.

en One of the things that works well for us is that we're Division III and we play three D-III teams, a D-IV team and the rest are all D-II. A lot of them are top in the division too, so when we can get to where we aren't playing those teams we can really make some noise.

en In my mind we were in the toughest division in football a year ago and I don't see anything changing. There's a new staff in Miami so it's just a matter of time before they get things rolling, and you have three other teams that are playoff-caliber teams, so I don't know if you can find a tougher division.

en We pulled ourselves together, but we just couldn't get over the hump. I think the best thing we can get out of this is to see what level of play we need to bring for 32 minutes to compete with the best teams in our division.

en If you look at our division, you're going to see all five of these teams right up there at the state championships. Every time we come together, it's like a championship meet. The competition is very strong, yet the kids all get along and the coaches all get along. It's just a good league overall.

en In a three week race, at the end there is always a high level, and more since we are in the UCI-ProTour. Maybe it's not the same level of the Tour, where all teams bring his nine riders at 100 percent level, but the average is very high. Maybe there are no so many names as other years, but the level continues being high. Here we have Mancebo, Aitor Gonzalez, Landis, Mayo, Pereiro and, in general, teams like Comunidad Valenciana, without forgetting that there are always foreigners whom you don't count on and then they ride very well.

en His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness.

en He's amazing. He can bring us things other coaches cannot bring, things that he sees [in the Olympics]. It gives him more experience which turns around and gives us more experience too. We have an advantage over other teams because of that.

en These teams, the coaches and these kids - we all know each other. This is the third time we'll meet and I think we'll put on a good show. These teams are real even.
  Bob Weir

en Not only does this give more teams the opportunity to compete in the postseason, it also puts both Division I and Division II state title games on the same weekend and puts two teams per district in each division.
