It's a tough gig gezegde

 It's a tough gig and I realize that. But still, I was just kind of disappointed with the way it ended, the fact that I felt I had my two best weeks of practice the last couple weeks and just wasn't able to carry it over to the field for some reason.

 I am disappointed the last two weeks in his play on the field. I thought four or five weeks ago, he had made the turn and he went through some tough personal problems the week he returned the punt for a touchdown. I think he got worn out. I think he became distracted. I know for a fact, he has a long way to go to become a true pro in this league.

 Everybody was kind of disappointed, but we brought this on ourselves. We lost a good portion of games the last couple weeks and that's a tough thing for us, but we'll have to build off of it.

 I took a couple of weeks off this year and I didn't touch a golf club. I had no desire to. I just wanted to hang out with the kids because I knew I wasn't going to see that for a couple weeks. You don't want to miss a while of time with them. The golf game does suffer. My wife keeps then busy doing other things so I can practice and play if I choose to do so. I just haven't chosen to do so. I enjoy hanging out with them and spending some time with them.

 A couple of weeks ago I wasn't doing so good at the line so I've been really working on my free throws in practice and outside of practice.

 I just felt good. The last couple of weeks I've been in the gym a lot, before practice, after practice. It's been paying off.

 I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.

 She's having a pretty tough battle at the minute. She had a couple of weeks of very intensive treatment two weeks ago for another situation, so she's had a very tough time. But she's battling hard.

 It will be a tough week, but they've all been tough. The last couple of weeks we haven't had a lot of time to practice.

 It's been slow. The first couple of weeks were kind of slow, but you've got to put yourself in my shoes. I wasn't familiar at all with the offense. These other guys, even the rookies, were here all season and spring. I've had two weeks to learn the offense, but it's sinking in.

 I'm kind of disappointed. I've had (5,000 points) taped up on my mirror for a couple of weeks. I would have had it, but I had a really bad long jump.  It's tough sometimes to play four weeks in a row and still to come out on top, ... I've played a lot of matches the last few weeks and I felt this whole week was a success. I won in straight sets every match, and it's not always easy to win when you're expected to win. I felt I handled that very well this week.

 There's still a little bit of pain, it's still kind of there. But it's good enough to practice and play. Hopefully it will just fade away now over the next couple of weeks.

 I can't shoot my age — yet. I mostly shoot in the high 80s. I had a shot at it a couple of weeks ago at D.W. Field but ended up with a 92. I'll get there someday.

 We've had a tough couple of weeks of practice. But for four quarters on the Mercy side, that was a well-played, well-focused game.
