It's tough starting the gezegde

 It's tough starting the year with two straight on the road. Our defense played strong and our offense put it in the end zone.

 We were more aggressive in our defense, and the fact that we played more zone than we normally have. We were active in our zone, we were talking in our zone and we played a little more full-court defense. ... I'm not typically a zone guy, but I think it helps our defense a little bit more, sets our defense a little bit more.

 [Defensively, the Wasps played shorthanded, missing both starting defensive tackles and playing several first-year players in the secondary, a fact that didn’t bode well against W&J’s shotgun formation and spread offense.] We played extremely tough at first, before they figured out what we were doing, ...  The two interceptions are concerning any time we turn the ball over. But I was pleased with the way our defense treated the football. Its tough week one when you don't know what they are going to do. (Chatfield) are running a different offense than they did last year. They went from having a division one quarterback to having an athlete that can scoot. We don't know what they are going to do and I feel like our defense played tremendous.

 Hartley always has a strong zone defense. They are one of the few high-school teams that plays zone defense well. The key is to figure out how to counter their zone.

 We were fortunate enough get some stops and play some tough, hard-nosed defense. This is the fifth win on a five-game road trip. We have been on the road eleven or twelve days and we played some pretty good defense against a team scoring 150, 120 and 115 points, so I am awfully proud of our guys.

 They've always been very strong on offense and they are still strong on offense, but this year they're more mature on defense. Now, they're a good football team .

 It showed his diversity. He always won with the same man-to-man defense and same offense. This year, he was willing to be better by doing it differently. The willingness to go to a motion offense says a lot for him. Going to a 1-3-1 zone used to be a Cardinal sin for him. He accepted change.
