 Coach says this is winning time. We're not just trying to get in the tournament. We're trying to win every game till the end of March.

 We knew when we scheduled them it would be a good, tough game. They are kind of like us in that they like to get up and down the court. Other than not winning we got what we wanted out of the game. When tournament time comes around we'll be able to build on this.

 I think we do a real disservice to our game by playing our national championship tournament at the same time as the opening weekend of (NCAA) March Madness.

 Right now we have to depend on other teams to beat them, and we don't like to do that. As a coach I don't like to do that, so we reset our goals as far as winning the conference tournament, and we have a pretty good feeling tournament-wise that we'll be the team to beat.

 He's good guy and a good coach, so I hope people give him a chance before they jump to anything. I know he's a competitor and he's a very energetic coach that likes to get out there.  We're taking the approach that we're just happy to be going to the national tournament. We're not going out there with the idea of winning it. We're going out there to take things as they come -- one game at a time.

 As of right now, everything is a long shot, so we're just going to look at winning one game at a time. If we finish out the way we're playing, I don't think we deserve to go to any postseason tournament.

 Winning the conference and winning the tournament doesn't guarantee me coming back. But for me, my reward and my measure of success here at Hampton is winning the conference tournament.
