 Viz is another guy that I think is great with not only the Latino guys but he's also great for guys like me. Anybody can draw on his wealth of experience. They set a standard for the right way to play the game and the right way to conduct yourself in the clubhouse and on the field. Their example is very important.

 There's always people out there that are hating, I guess. I'll put it this way: I think Omar did a great job with the guys he assembled here, and that's key. Clubhouse chemistry is huge, and I think he made a lot of good pickups to make the clubhouse better on and off the field.

 The brutal honesty that he brings to the game and to the clubhouse is why we play so hard. He's going to tell you when you're doing great, and he's going to tell you when you screwed up and did something wrong. He's intense. He's passionate. I don't think anything changed from the days when he was a player. That's a huge bonus for us. He's as animated on the field as he is off. Guys feed off that energy that he has.

 We feel this game will be a neat experience for our guys. It'll be a great atmosphere to play in. Anytime you can do something that enhances and showcases the sport to these new areas along with giving your guys a special experience is something that we're always looking to do.

 He's a clubhouse leader, great for young players to be around, knows how to play the game, accepts his role willingly and does it as well as any of the other top flight guys that come off benches and play, that you can think of. What's there not to like about this guy?

 It's been a great experience so far and some guys are so excited that they're saying we should play this ever year. I think this is going to be a great tournament and there won't be any negatives about it. More guys will want to play in it next time and it will keep getting bigger.

 That's a great core of guys right there. We've played together for a while -- me, Brian and Melvin. You play together [and] you get to know each other's mannerisms. You kind of click in the clubhouse a little bit. If we get the rest of these guys locked up -- and we've already gotten a few -- the chemistry's going to get even better.

 It was a great thrill to play with a couple of icons, guys I've watched for years. They were great guys, terrific players. Ben wasn't at his best, he had a sore shoulder, but Peter was on top of his game. He was very impressive, he just didn't make any putts for two days. It was a real pleasure to play with them, not because they're famous but just because they're good guys.

 He gives more than he gets so he's really like Curtis Martin. At the end of the day, those guys are who make the league great because of what they do on the field, how they conduct themselves as professionals and what the do off the field. His legacy as a player goes far beyond his football career.

 There are great young pitchers, guys who can go the distance. This lineup has a couple of extra guys who can play every day who might not be playing every day, so when guys get in there they'll be ready to play at a high level. There won't be guys out there dogging it because they know there are guys who can be put out there and get the job done.

 We have some guys that should get keys to the clubhouse because they beat the clubhouse guys here. It's a little bit different, because we've got some hard-working guys. They influence the other guys, and that's a positive effect.

 I really like how this team looks in the clubhouse. I think it's going to be a lot better. We're together for six, seven months. It makes it a lot easier if guys get along and guys have fun. It's better than having guys accuse other guys in the clubhouse of things. That broke us up a little bit.

 It's easy to say you want a bunch of young guys. But no one's going to be happy whether you're young or old if you're not winning baseball games. The guys they brought in here are proven winners. They're leaders on the field and in the clubhouse. I think that's really important when you change the dynamic so much. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive.

 I have a great deal of respect for people who stay in a program without the benefit of a scholarship and go through the grind every day, just hoping for that one time when they are able to put a uniform on and play in the college game. There are a lot of guys around the country who do that, and you have a great deal more respect for those guys than the guys who play on scholarship.

 I think Oh-san has done a great job. The guys are starting to rise to the occasion, and he has a lot to do with that. He lets his guys go out and play, but he expects guys to know the game.
