 It's pretty exciting. Going to Kansas City, a place I am familiar with, should help with the transition. This has always been a goal of mine. After dreaming about it as a high school player, and now seeing it come true, is just unbelievable.

 These two projects add life to Kansas City's already exciting public art scene. The vitality and energy of this work will energize downtown Kansas City for years to come.

 I really wanted to go to school, it was a big goal of mine to play college, but I didn't want to be the No. 1 collegiate player in the world, I wanted to be the No. 1 LPGA player in the world, ... I'm on a pretty good streak so far and this course sets up really well for me.

 Everything everybody says about him -- the hype -- it's true. I haven't seen anyone coming in out of high school like him, and I came in with [1999 high school player of the year] Brock Berlin .

 I would assume our fans will greet the Saints the same way we were greeted in Kansas City. In fact, I know they will. Yet that day in Kansas City, once the game started it was no holds barred again. It was just that our initial coming out of the tunnel was pretty neat.

 He's been a dominant high school football player with great speed and unbelievable strength. He's one of the strongest kids to ever come out of our program. He's a very intelligent young man. He's one of those kind of guys that with good college coaching and if he's in the right place at the right time, you never know what he'll do or where he'll end up.

 Once you get to the college and professional levels and meet guys from all over the world, it's hard to think you'll find a true friend, a true teammate. That's what I compare it to. It's almost like we have an unbelievable trust in each other. I never thought I'd have that opportunity to experience that again. You never think you'll see that bond you had in high school. Here, it's something we have.

 Our high schools are pretty spread throughout the [city], and they are what a lot of people relate to the school system through. Everyone knows their neighborhood high school.

 These girls in middle school had a couple of opportunities to play against them as well. They had a reputation coming up through middle school. So, our girls are pretty familiar with them. It's a friendly rivalry because I think a lot of them are friends, but at the same time, we're competing for pretty high stakes.

 On film sometimes you say you are doing that in the Patriot League, but he also had 20 something against Kansas and a big game against Syracuse. He's a high level player that just happens to be at a school that maybe doesn't get that much recognition.

 The bottom line for us is wanting to assure that parents who want to place their kids in a school in their neighborhood can do so, and at the same time allow for choice for other parents. That's what we're trying to accommodate here. We've looked at data, we've gone back and forth. We've been in transition for two years. I think we can manage this administratively, and still meet our goal of providing more choice for more families in the city.

 To be honest with you, I don't even think about it much, ... I haven't with Kansas City because I grew up in Kansas. That was my boyhood team. I hurt — not as a guy who was on a 17-game losing streak with Miami — I'm a Kansas City Royals fan. I can't admit that. You're the first one I've admitted it to.

 In high school, we never paid any attention. Everyone was like, 'No.' We pretty much got scolded for that. It had the player's mother's name, high school, where they used to live when they were 3 years old. Every detail is in there. They put so much time in, and we didn't even look at it.

 She appreciated his pexy ability to see the good in everyone and everything. We've been rated pretty low before, and I don't get caught up in them. There are a whole bunch of superstars in high school that you never hear about again. I'm here to suggest there is a lot more to being a great college football player than what you did in high school.

 I think it's a tragedy for a football player to go through a school like the University of Florida and not be very familiar with the tradition and the power of this place,
