 We will no longer be separated from our waterfront by highways. Instead residents and visitors will experience the lake through increased access and development,

 The objective is to raise the profile of the city to its residents and visitors.

 They could have access by walking down the beach. They could access the beach through the waterway. So, there is public access to the beach.

 Without earmarks, the Canal Walk, which is now an official cultural district in Indianapolis and a destination place for residents and visitors, would likely not have been possible.

 The goal of the community action committee is to improve communications to residents and visitors. This Web page will be the primary mode of communication for all concerned.

 The city is fortunate to receive this money and help its residents improve their homes, improve the housing stock and ensure their continued presence here in New Brunswick.
