I feel like I was cheated not being able to make it to the Little League World Series as a kid.

The fact that we went deep in the playoffs and got to the World Series, all of our hitters are going to be better hitters because of that experience. Jason Lane's a better hitter. They're a storied franchise, and rightfully so, with all of the world championships they've won. But we're not intimidated by the Yankees, and we're going to have fun playing those guys.

When you did what we did at school ... it's not like this [Major League] level, but still, winning a World Series in college is a pretty good deal. You're always going to remember that. Obviously, you're going to feel something different for guys that you played with on a team like that.
