 You want to evaluate, you want to see what they can do in game situations with only a couple of (preseason) games left. We'll have some decisions to make.

 You have to evaluate as the tempo goes up, the combative stuff that we're doing. If there are no repercussions from that, then you gotta make decisions. How do you utilize him? How do you get him in?

 If you don't evaluate your programs, you can't make smart decisions. You're just throwing money at an issue without any clue whether you're getting any bang for your buck.

 We didn't specifically say there would be an immediate assignment. This was part of a corporate process to evaluate the marketplace to make long-term decisions.

 I went to our professional scouting staff and said we're trading Kolb, find someone to replace him. We challenge them; they evaluate talent and make decisions.
