 Is Home Plate cool or what?

 Jason has had a history of leaning out over the plate, trying to get hit. He stuck his elbow guard out over the plate and I told him not to. He had a problem with it, and he came out and got me. He has a right to do that, and I'm totally cool with it.

 It was kinda cool - a career highlight. I don't care if it is an exhibition game. To be able to run around the bases with USA across my chest and have ( Ken Griffey ) Junior and Brian Schneider waiting at home plate to slap high-fives. That was special.

 I haven't seen the replay, ... Obviously, it got a lot of the plate. But that's what I was trying to do. I was trying to throw a fastball over the plate because I know he isn't a home run hitter in the regular season. He hit zero, right?

(Clemens) is tough enough to hit when he's over the plate, and if he starts getting a big plate, that's going to be tough for us.

 When you hit a home run in that situation, it is gratifying, ... Then when you hit home plate, then you've forgotten about it and you've got to move forward. So it's a lot of fun, but we've still got a long way to go.

 The responsibility's on the runner to run through home plate all the time. There's no reason to ever slow down unless it's a home run. That way it's safety first and there's no questions.

 We had it down to the last out with the winning run at the plate and the guy you would want up. I couldn't ask for more than that. That is the game, you think you have home-field advantage, and we played great at home all, year but something happened.

 That wasn't too bad for a car that was just a little off, ... We had a setback in practice the other day and that got us off a little, but the guys rebounded really well. We had an alternator belt come off early and that meant we had to switch off all the brake fans, the ones that blow cool air on the bead of the tire to keep the tires cool. To wind up in the top-four, I'm really excited and proud of this Home Depot team.

 I think he hit a home run, and he touched all the bases as he went around, and when he got to home plate, he got a big cheer,
