We're happy we're not gezegde

 We're happy we're not facing an all-junior and senior Class C team again this week. Wakefield is similar in size, but we can't take them lightly. I'm sure they're looking for their first win, like we're looking for our second.

 I actually think if you have a strong junior class, that's the best possible scenario. In their senior year, guys who are on the threshold of making it [to the NBA] start getting preoccupied in their thoughts elsewhere more than concerning themselves with the present. The junior class is the perfect age.

 We're older and wiser. Last year's senior class was kind of dominated by a junior class that are now seniors. We have a level of experience and we have an interesting mix here. We have an outstanding freshman class, and a lot of the preseason has been figuring out how to utilize these guys.

 It's a huge honor to be chosen captain. Especially with the senior class we have. It's been a goal of mine since I got here to become captain and to lead this team, but it really is the entire class. We're such a strong unit that even though the three of us many share the title, it's not just the captains leading this team, it's the whole senior class.

 You get that good junior class that becomes a senior class and when they graduate you're starting over at square one.

 I think that we accomplished a lot in our four-year career here. At the beginning it was a struggle, but these last two years for the senior class and the junior class, (what) they went through with us has been great.

 Personally, I think that if they were to play next week then I'd maybe have to give the edge to Wakefield, ... Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. Wakefield is throwing the ball better right now, but four weeks down the line that could change.

 It was truly a team win, and to win both the regular season and then the tournament is quite an accomplishment for this senior class. I'm very happy for them. Now we've got to put it behind us.

 The formula I always use for picking teams is whoever has the most
talent in the junior and senior class wins the championships,

 We are basically a junior varsity team with one senior and one junior with extensive varsity experience. And, we have 10 first year players. We are a young team with young leadership and great potential.

 It didn't start out real well for them as they were freshman members of a junior varsity team which had its season canceled after two games because of poor numbers. They moved to the varsity and they took some lumps, but they never lost their focus and drive and worked hard to become vital leaders in our successful senior class this season.

 Students need to have been serious about their grades and their class work all along but need to keep it up during junior and senior year. They need to keep their course work on a college level, if possible.

 I just think our guys are good at executing under pressure. We have good senior leadership and a solid junior class, and I think that really helps.

 I expected the speed and the size of guys to be a little different than junior, and that I'd have to adapt to that. But as the first week's gone by, I think I feel pretty comfortable with that.

 (The senior class) knows what it is all about; they have been there and done that for several years now. We had to find a lot of replacements for people last year; that's just the way it goes. I think we'd all like to see the senior class go out on top.
