I didn't think at all. I only thought of the yellow and I thought of everything. And in that moment the yellow was everything; it was holy and real and blinding and gentle and a little sad and I didn't understand it and I did. Did I? Did I.

 There are 7,000 school buses on Long Island. They each last about 10 years. We would gradually replace them with amphibious school buses.

 We once did one using buses and the Metro bus schedule.

And if they should show up, and we were not notified, we would deal with it. We have lots of people ready to step up and help. The citizens of the county will step up and help them.

 This will be a centre for one-stop shopping, something I hope will be repeated across the city to replace our ageing community centres, ... It will help us get more and more people out of their cars and onto buses or walking.

 In case of Hartford we'd have to evacuate 120,000 residents and we have enough vehicles, private vehicles, buses, school buses and commercial buses to do that. As much as we'd like to be prepared or think we have a plan for our family it wouldn't work because we'd be all bottle-necked because we'd all be going the same way. There's not enough roads out of the city.

 Everybody is for peace. Nobody says they're against it. But we really wanted to take this abstract idea and put a human face to it, and let people know the idea of peaceful resolution isn't just something that needs to happen on the far side of the globe. It's something that needs to happen here too.
