 The artist and the political activist are one. They are both shapers of the future reality. Both understand and manipulate the collective myths of the race. Both are warriors, priests, lovers, and destroyers.

 Our frontlines are our living rooms and I knew we had to take action. Being a political activist in the Bush campaigns of 2000 and 2004 as well as a statewide activist in the international organization Protest Warrior was a good start, but I felt I could do more to help my children and our country.

 I understand that people are conflicted and clearly see this as a vote of conscience, but from a purely political point of view, the Democrat activist base has long been concerned that our party is too accommodating with Bush.

 As long as what you are doing is effective to the situation, you don't have to look pretty doing it. We start with reality and develop solutions there rather than manipulate reality to fit a martial art.

 Myths and legends die hard in America. We love them for the extra dimension they provide, the illusion of near-infinite possibility to erase the narrow confines of most men's reality. Weird heroes and mould-breaking champions exist as living proof to those who need it that the tyranny of ''the rat race'' is not yet final.

 Our main reason for choosing them is that they're very artist friendly. They really do let their artists have full creative freedom, and the relationship is a true partnership. And, we hope to accomplish the same things for the band in the future. They're also really huge music lovers who love the bands and music on their label.
