Jake Gardner is so gezegde

 Jake Gardner is so improved it's unbelievable. He's looking very good. His arm is better, his footwork is better, he looks like a quarterback.

 He has the best footwork I've ever seen in a quarterback in the 15 years I've been coaching. He has a very strong arm and is, without a doubt, the smartest quarterback I've ever coached.

 Whether we like it or not, it's not going away so we may as well try to appreciate the best sides of it. A lot of skaters are trying to put more thought into footwork or spins. The skating itself has improved tremendously over the last four years, and that's a very good aspect of the new scoring system.

 That poor kid has had one nagging injury after another. But Jake still outworks everyone on the court and that's his character. Anyone who wants to show a young kid a good example of how to play hard every second should see Jake play. It's also really tough for me to see Jake hurting.

 Thomas Gardner has probably improved as much as any player in the league. He's a guy that can make some really tough shots.

 We started better this year, but we've still got a ways to go. I didn't see (very good) footwork. We need to work on footwork.

 I do think that's why Bru has a lot of good footwork today. He had guard footwork, and now he's kind of grown into those feet and become a power forward.

 What Pete and Jake did this year as leaders is what Jake and Matt will have to do next year. Matt would've been a district qualifier and maybe even a state qualifier if he'd not gotten hurt, so we're going to be improved next season, especially with the experience these freshmen got.

 When you get knocked down a lot as a quarterback, it will confuse any quarterback. I'm not saying it was one of Jake's better days; I don't think it was one of our better days as a football team.

 He's a great quarterback. He's learning the system. As soon as everything starts clicking for him, he's going to be unbelievable. Unbelievable. I just can't wait.

 The pitching was solid. Jake did a good job of getting out of that inning. If we're going to do anything state-wise, we've got to have Jake throwing well.

 Quarterback is a lot of footwork. It's mechanics, how you step back, what you do on a trap or power or play action,

 They're improved over last year's team. Their quarterback is real good. This will be another tough game.
